Maine Driving Dynamics

This Maine Bureau of Highway Safety course offers all drivers the opportunity to improve their defensive driving abilities. Those completing this one-day course will receive a three-point credit on their driving record. Taught by a certified Maine Driving Dynamics instructor in a format that includes lectures, videos, and class participation, this course includes discussion of collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and the basic elements that constantly challenge drivers on Maine's highways. Fee: $40 or $25 for 65 & older. Yoga Gentle

Take a break in your day to move your body, relax your mind, and renew your spirit. This one hour class will move gently from one pose to the next exploring your own personal needs as is most comfortable to you.  No experience necessary to come to this class.  We will move slowly and mindfully through this hour with an extended savasana at the end of class.

Yoga Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa flow class focusing on sun salutations, standing poses, balancing poses, seated and reclining poses, backbends, core isolation, and strengthening. This will be an upbeat class that tunes into correct alignment, using the breath, and learning to quiet the chatter of the mind to find stillness. Prior experience in yoga will be helpful. Wear comfy clothing, mats are provided. Studio Fee: $65 for session.

Yoga Wind Down for Teachers

Join me for a relaxed yoga class after your school day. We will start class with a calming visualization and then follow with some gentle stretching to release anything you have been holding throughout the day and end this class with a lengthened savasana.  No experience necessary.
