Need help organizing an essay draft? Looking for ways to attack challenging reading assignments? We suggest signing up for our individualized reading and writing tutoring program! This is a FREE service for college students taking reading and writing at the college level. Participants meet with an instructor weekly in person or online to work on assignments or essays. This is a relaxed class time to ask your questions and work on the skills you need to be successful in your course.
Offered January 2nd, 2024 to June 28th, 2024. Enrollment open throughout the semester.
College Transitions One-to-One Tutoring
with Various Tutors
This service is available as you prepare yourself for college or career training. Study with tutors who offer academic support for those transitioning into college or career training programs. Learn effective study habits and receive advising guidance as needed. Rolling admission and flexible scheduling available.
Mathematics for College
with Peg Junge
This class is for students who want to review math skills before taking a math placement test or enrolling in a college math course. The class provides one-on-one instruction where the instructor and student decide together on which type of math to work on. Some students may need to rebuild foundational math skills and concepts before moving on to more advanced math. Others may want to brush up on their Algebra skills. The class objectives will be decided during the registration process.
Students may continue to meet with the instructor for tutoring help during their college mathematics course, if desired.
Statistics Fundamentals

Get a head start on your college level ‘Elementary Statistics’ course!
Statistics Fundamentals is designed to introduce students to the unique vocabulary and concepts of statistics. The main objective is to increase student confidence and preparedness for the challenge of college statistics. Classes cover data collection techniques, data measurements, and display of this information in tables and graphs. Along the way, students review the proportion, decimal, and percent calculations fundamental to statistics. Also included are basic statistics topics such as variation, standard deviation and probability.
This is an online course with students meeting weekly on Zoom with an instructor.
This class is for students planning to enroll in college or in college and expect to take "Elementary Statistics."
